Excellent Finish Richard from Surrey on 20th June 2019 |
I bought these to help fit two of the 6 x 4 foot mirrors. The fit is very tight to the wall so looks great - but if you have rough brickwork (mine was in the garage and did) then you may need to bring out from the wall. I Didn't use two double suction cups handles recommended by another reviewer and he's quite right it would have made it a lot easier to fit so worth the investment They look very professional and feel very secure. Highly recommended for fitting large mirrors. |

Missing and difficult to fit Jknott from East Sussex on 13th June 2019 |
When I ordered the mirrors the JChannels were missing on the van so I had to wait another three days them. Once arrived they were not easy to fit as we had to drill holes and judge where the place was on the wall as they are hidden. A few days later they tried to deliver another set! |

Makes a professional look easy to achieve. Chris B from Cambridge on 6th June 2019 |
I bought these to help fit two of the 6 x 4 foot mirrors. I used two double suction cups handles (less than a tenner each at Screwfix and INVALUABLE for handling the glass) and fitted the mirrors in minutes. One set of channels was enough for both mirrors and they cut easily. I used a file to smooth the edges and that was it. They look very professional and feel very secure. Highly recommended for fitting large mirrors. |

whole-hardheartedly recommend this company. Jeremy Jones from Swindon on 3rd May 2018 |
I'm very pleased with my recent order, the mirrors look fantastic in our Dance Studio. The order process was simple, and the delivery time was quicker than expected. Communication on the progress of my order was very good as well. The mirrors are great quality, and look very professional. It is definitely best to use the J-channels for fitting, they give a much more professional appearance. Overall I thought the cost of my order was very reasonable, and I would whole-hardheartedly recommend this company. Regards, Jeremy Jones. |

Very pleased Peter Browell from . on 21st November 2017 |
Hello, I am very pleased with my purchase. The quality of the mirror and the wall fixings are excellent. I would recommend purchasing the best quality mirror even for domestic use. It just has a very solid quality look. The mirror has transformed the look and feel of the room. The room is used for singing a cappella in quartet and the mirror enables all four of us to see what we look like and correct any faults with posture, head position and mouth shapes. Things to note: The mirror is very heavy and you will need two people to move the mirror around and mount it on the wall between the J bars. I would not recommend trying mounting the mirror on your own! I used suction pads which I would recommend since this made the whole process a lot easier. Make sure you double, even triple check the measurements for attaching the J bars to the wall. Use of a spirit level is essential! The margin for error is extremely small and if you get it wrong either the mirror will not fit over the bottom J bar or will fall out of the top J bar. I am pleased to say that mounting the mirror on the wall was a total success and takes no more that two minutes with the suction pads to lift and place the mirror into the J bars. All in all I am extremely pleased with my whole experience from delivery (you need to help the driver with carrying the mirror from the van since it is extremely heavy) to installation. Best regards, Peter |

Really Happy Tom Jackson from UK on 21st September 2017 |
Hi really happy with the mirrors and the fit. The J channels look great and frame the mirrors nicely. I would recommend that you advise people to have glass moving suction cups to move the mirrors, I didn’t to start and it was too hard. |

Product good but shipping extortionate Ashleigh from Cornwall on 18th September 2017 |
Firstly, this can only be bought in huge strips, which is ridiculous really as I needed only a third of it so have another however many metres resting on my staircase until I can find somewhere to put it. And secondly, although the product is great, 25 shipping was absolutely extortionate - especially as I had another order from the same delivery company being delivered (for free) from another seller on the same day. Product is great, but it's an expensive way to hang a big mirror. |

Good product but limited screw space Chris from Leeds on 22nd August 2017 |
I cut my J track down to 8ft for 2x4ft wide mirrors. A handsaw with fresh 24TPI blade went through them cleanly. I cleaned up the edge with 120 grit sandpaper to make it smooth and burr free. Marked my studs and drilled the holes into the J track. A 5mm HSS bit went through it nice and easy. Sandpaper or a file is required to clean the drill holes. I was going into timber studs so I looked online for the best screws. I was worried that standard 5mm countersunk screw heads would be too big, they wouldn't go flush against the J track. I couldn't easily find an alternative so I used 5mm Goldscrews from screwfix that I had already. Now they worked however it's a very tight fit. Once in the mirror isn't moving from side to side at all. The first test fit to mark the top track resulted in some damage to the safety backing. It had scrapped away where the screws were. I didn't see this as a problem to stop me fitting them properly because it can't be seen on the back but it's something to be aware of. I hit 4 studs over the 8ft with 5mm wood screws. I added screws inbetween for extra support that go into plasterboard and 11mm OSB sheet which covers the timber frame. These are all holding two 6x4ft 6mm mirrors securely, no movement at all. I think it would improve the experience if the installation instructions could mention this and include some recommended screw types. I think a domed pan head screw would also have the same problem, ideally you need a flat topped pan head but I could only find those in self tapping and not wood screws. |
